MY STORY

I started singing as early as 2 years old. I always knew I wanted to sing and write my own songs, but it wasn't until I found Avril Lavigne that I realized girls could play rock music too!

I made Halocene with my now husband Brad almost 15 years ago and not all of those years were as successful as it is now. We created everything completely on our own, from the recordings to the music videos and even graphic design. We've never been on a record label and we're so grateful that things finally worked out for us.

My biggest advice to someone chasing a dream is to not be afraid to diversify. I thought I was going to be touring arenas at 17 and that's just not realistic. As time went on, we started doing things like jingles for toy commercials and playing weddings and corporate events. Those projects weren't my ultimate dream, but they expanded my abilities and allowed me to make money doing what I loved.

The rougher the road is that you travel, the more satisfying it is to finally make it to your destination. Find a way to appreciate those hard times.

Remember, storms may come, but you are the lightning that dances through them. Embrace your power, celebrate your uniqueness, and let your strength inspire others.
