Glam , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
The industry standard focuses majorly on bridal in Nashville. Glam Up takes pride in all the unique and personalized services we offer. We focus on the live culture, tourism, and bachelorette scene in Music City.
Glam Up spotlights a Glambassador each month who we find inspirational to our local community. We are proud to create a space that not only makes people feel beautiful but also encourages them to follow their dreams through Glambassador’s success stories.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We are Kaitlyn and Marissa and we created Glam Up Nashville in 2023! We had never met before creating GU but were very inspired by each other’s work and artistry. We fused our visons and passions together to create this amazing brand we have. We are a brand who believes in celebrating who you are and what you do.
Kaitlyn since a child has always been artistic and loved to paint. Her creative influence led her to Nashville where she attended The Academy of Makeup Arts in 2015.

Marissa loved watching Michelle Phan with her mom growing up. She was on her way to joining the AirForce after high school when her craving for artistic freedom and self-expression led her to become a self-taught Makeup Artist.
We both have over 10+ years of experience in the beauty industry.
We are very proud to have the artists on our team and the ability to create change in Nashville!
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
We are blessed to have an amazing marketer named Meghan who has skyrocketed our business. Meghan has tons of experience and most notably with Louis Vuitton. Her commitment and passion for Glam Up has amplified and set us up for success. She believes in our mission what GU stands for. Marketing is a huge portion of our business and growth and having her means the absolute world to us!
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for us is honestly local tourism! We love being able to give Nashville visitors a great experience.
